Fantastical stories of mythological creatures occupy the work of Lou Benesch-de Gastines. The Franco/American graphic designer and artist lives and works in Paris. Her paintings and prints draw inspiration from both medieval bestiaries and personal mythologies. Unique dragon-like creatures, cloud-patterned greyhounds, three-headed bears and anthropomorphic figures are painted in bold, vibrant colours. Benesch’s style is refined and yet meticulously detailed. We could not be more excited to present two new works by the artist.
