Dessy Baeva is a London-based artist and musician whose work explores spirituality, duality, and our connection to the universe. Blending bold colours with fluid, organic shapes, she creates compositions that balance unpredictability with control, often using solid oil bars to achieve rich textures and striking contrasts.
Growing up in the Bulgarian mountains, Dessy developed a vivid imagination, which infuses her work with a dreamlike, psychedelic quality. Her visual world is filled with mystical landscapes, folklore, swirling patterns, and Tarot archetypes—expressions of the unseen forces that shape our reality.
For this release, Dessy reimagines six Major Arcana Tarot cards, inspired by the classic Rider-Waite deck. Infused with a contemporary pop-art aesthetic, each piece embodies the energy of its archetype, offering a playful yet powerful take on these ancient symbols. Bold, hypnotic, and spiritually charged, this series invites the viewer into a colourful exploration of fate, intuition, and transformation.
